My First Etsy Purchase

I am beyond thrilled. Yesterday I came home to this wonderful little package waiting for me.  It was an adorable little bag with the cutest little bicycle postage stamps and inside that bag, all the way from Sweden, were the custom rubber stamps I ordered.  Before I show you pictures, let me gush about the seller. She hand-carved the stamps from images I emailed her and they were spot on.  She was such a pleasure to work with and her turnaround time was amazing.  I can’t show you all of them yet because I’m using them for the invitations and on all the other paper products. But I’m super excited so here’s a pic of one of the small ones.

A Hallmark Production

I've never been one for celebrating this Hallmark produced holiday. Isn't it really just an excuse for couples to shove their "love" in the face of those poor sorry singles? Alas, I have fallen under the spell of V-day this year. It marks a year since "the ring" so I guess we can celebrate and acknowledge the day. Technically, "the ring" showed up around the 11th or the 12th (we don't really remember).  Anywho, Sister was making Valentine's Day cakes so we got one.

What Not to Wear -- Wedding Edition

I’m hoping to have a fun, elegant, whimsical affair. It’s a Friday evening and since I’m getting dressed up I’d like my guests to get dressed up too.
