I. Am. So. Over. It. I’ve hit a wedding plateau. Granted, I have been planning since 2009. There’s still plenty of little stuff to do. (Like writing our vows, picking accessories, deciding on hairstyles, making the schedules for the day, blah, blah, blah). Part of the problem is that the big stuff is settled. I can get myself revved up about programs and trolleys but it’s just not the same. People keep asking if I'm excited. Truthfully, I'm like inches away from whatevering the wedding.
Alas, this too will pass.
On a lighter note: I'm considering using this cutie doxie as my "ring bearer pillow".

Girl, I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's getting to the point where I am SO tired of hearing people say "Are you excited? Getting nervous? Anxious?" ALL.THE.TIME. But, I feel like I'm in a rut and I know the things I need to do, but I just don't feel like it. I'm like you, I've been planning this wedding since 2009 (Feb of 2009 to be exact) and I'm close to whatevering it, too. lol!
ReplyDeleteAnd.. that ring bearer pillow... CUTENESS! I love it!
I kind feel the same way right now. Our big vendors are done and I have nothing to do right now!
ReplyDeleteHehehe. I'm already at that plateau with a year left. I think it's good to have peaks and valleys in the process. It makes it a bit more manageable. It can't be all wedding and excitement all of the time.
