Great Vendors Make Great Weddings - Part 3

Hair - Salon 718

How good does my hair look?? I know!!! Super awesome salon experience. They made all us ladies look amazing and they were able to wrangle a less than cooperative flower girl. The pricing was less than I expected and the service was unparalleled. They even provided munchies and mimosas. It was a great way to start the day.  If you are in Brooklyn check them out!

Makeup - Ellen B Beauty

Love love love Ellen and Janelle! Here are a few great things about Ellen B:

1) Makes you look like a better version of you. Not just a face full of makeup that looks unapproachable.

2) Janelle gives the best hand massage.

3) They are so much fun to be around.

In a nutshell they did a great job with our makeup and were a pleasure to have around. It's really important to surround yourself with as much positive energy as possible on the day of the wedding. It was like having your fav girlfriends over to do your makeup. Another smashingly successful vendor experience. Go Team!

Lighting - Event Lights

I had no frame of reference when it came to lighting but Ken was very patient and answered all of my questions promptly. He sent me multiple quotes when I couldn't decide what I wanted. And then....the lighting was incredible!! Couldn't have imagined anything better. 

Grade: A+ 

Transportation - NY Trolley Co

I worked with Dave from the start and he was super accommodating. The driver was beyond polite and courteous. We loved Polly the Trolley! I'm trying to come up with a reason to rent a trolley again.

Grade: A (I wish I had more time on the trolley.)

Tree - American Foliage Design

Props to the prop guys! The tree was beautiful. It was a good thing I didn't know how pretty it was going to be or else I would've wanted a couple more. LOL!

Grade: A (It was a little difficult to get a final quote but their work is gorgeous.)

And that's it for vendors. I swear I really lucked out. I am extremely grateful that I was able to work with such talented and all around wonderful people. Thanks so much for making our day amazing!
