I realized I never talked about my dress. Meet Dali.

Isn't she purdy? We met in a loft in Manhattan. She was introduced to me by Ivy ( most awesome bridal consultant EVER!!!). I did a review of all the salons we visited and you can check out my review of Cymbeline here.

The dress is gorgeous! It wasn't a heavy dress. That's the joy of Cymbeline dresses. They are super lightweight. Apart from having to hike it up when I was in my flats it was a pretty easy dress to wear. I would've spent the whole night in the dress except I love a costume change!

Dali is a taffeta dress with a bit of an asymmetrical dip on the bottom so you can see the tulle popping out. There are also two very soft flowers on the hip. The bodice has some ruching and a sweetheart neckline. I loved the lace detail that framed out the neckline and the corseted back gave it a sexy feel.

Sweet Dali. I really need to do right by her. She still hasn't been dry cleaned yet.
What are you doing/what did you do with your dress after the wedding?
I love the skirt!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what to do with my dress - it's still at my parents' house and has not been dry cleaned. Part of me thinks selling it is the smartest thing but...I can't imagine not having it anymore!
I love Dali! Sooo pretty. I am probably going to leave my dress with my Mom after the wedding. She said she would get it cleaned and stored away for me. She'll get it done faster than I would!
ReplyDeleteI really should get moving on doing something with my dress. I just like putting her on everytime I get my hair done. ::shrugs::
