Here's the second set:
Venue - Brooklyn Museum of Art
The venue itself was gorgeous, stunning & just plain wonderful. Some of my experiences over the past two and a half years? Not so much. It's a museum so they have some strict rules and regulations. They were also influx on some things. The special events staff were great though. They were all extremely helpful, understanding and generous with their time. I know it must've been hard on them having to deliver not so good news. No regrets about the venue.
Grade: A/A-

Caterer - Restaurant Associates
Absolutely fantastic!! Service? Exceptional. Food? Exquisite! The catering manager? Amazing! The "A" score is for that less than pleasant Fong episode. RA is great because they handle all the rentals including the lounge area furniture which they sourced from Taylor Creative. Not going to lie, they are expensive. Samantha was great at helping us figure out where we could get the most bang for our buck though. She was also great about keeping within budget. She never tried to up-sell anything. Superb caterers!
Grade: A/A+
Photographer -Indigo Foto
Easygoing and reasonably priced. They focus on capturing the story of the day and less on posed shots.
Grade pending ( I haven't seen the pictures yet but there's potential for at least an A here.) Updated grade: A (The sneak peek pics are really good. Once I see the rest of the pics and the album this is probably going to be an A+)
Video - Kiss the Bride Films
Not in our face all day and they were easy to get along with.
Grade pending ( I haven't seen the video yet but there's potential for at least an A here.) Updated grade: A (just saw the raw footage and it's AWESOME probably going to be an A+ after I see the edited version)
Next up: Hair, Makeup, Lighting, Transportation, Props
