Whatever!

When things start to bug me and I don’t want to deal with them anymore, you know what I do? I whatever it. I use the word whatever like a verb and usually everyone around me understands.

Here are some things I’m whatevering as related to the wedding:

The florist, the centerpieces and any floral décor?  WHATEVER

Oh I had big plans, grand plans, majestic plans. Twas not to be so instead of fretting about it I’m whatevering it and letting it go. Whoosh! Gone.  It’s not going to be my perfect vision but it’s going to be pretty and it’s going to be fine.

BM dresses? WHATEVER

I’ve agonized and changed my mind countless times and now HOLY HELL MUFFINS it’s 4 months to the wedding and I still haven’t ordered dresses. I need to make a decision and stick with it. If the dresses don’t work my backup plan is Rent the Runway. Sidebar: They rock!

Invitations? WHATEVER

I’m not 100% satisfied with a particular element of the invites but I can’t do anything about it so it’s getting whatever’d.

Whatevering stuff can be quite liberating. I even whatever people. So far no one has really given me any trouble but if they do I’ll be ready with my Whatever stick.

Are you whatevering anything or anyone?

  1. HAHA I love that you are whatevering things!! I have not yet (atleast I don't think so) actually I have! I was going to do baskets in the bathroom for supplies for our guests (bobby pins, gum, etc)..but yep I whaterver'd them too!! Soo unnecessary for me to do them!

  4. LOL. I whatevered a lot and to be honest this is the best attitude to have as you can only do much. I remained calm throughout the close run-up and even the day.
