The mister and I spent the weekend hitting up only the poshest of baby shower soirees. We had one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Poor Mr. H did a lot of driving this past weekend.
Anywho, I wanted to share my crazy wrapping job for one of the presents. This was a collaborative effort between Sister and me. She did the wrapping, affixing and pretty much came up with the concept. I supervised and did some hole punching. A taste of what the rest of our DIY projects will be like? Indeed!

We made polka dot wrapping paper! Previously on one of my shopping trips to Paper Source I picked up two Xyrons. The small X shaped one and the medium sized one with the crank handle. Sister sent me there the other day and I also picked up a circle punch.
I have quite a bit of sample paper left over and since the printer is on strike against the cardstock I found another use for it. The pinkish looking one is actually a light lilac. I also have a huge roll of brown paper which I'll be using for the invites. I dipped into that as well. Seriously, I have a lot of brown paper.
What do you think?
You know I'm a sucker for polka dots! I LOVEEEE that wrapping job, how creative!
ReplyDelete@Danielle: I totally blame you for my newly renewed polka dot fascination! The dots rock!
