What to do with Engagement Pictures

Ha! I don't even have them yet. I have some tentative dates picked but it's totally dependent on whether or not we can get approval to take pictures in the school building. The backup plan is the park. In any event it occurred to me that I better figure out what to do with these (hopefully) gorgeous images.

I hope to get amazing shots like these:

I've been monitoring traffic to our wedsite and people seem to be visiting. Woo hoo!!! It's been about a month since I sent out the link and I feel the need to update it. One way to do that would be with our engagement pictures. We could do a page devoted to them or just change out some of the photos we used on the site.

Okay that's one way to use the engagement pictures. What else?

I'm not really into displaying them at the wedding. Seeing pictures of myself just feels awkward. Alas I plan to do it anyway.

I think I can acquire some easels and frames and display them around the outer perimeter of the ceremony space. It is an art museum.

That's all I've got folks.

What are you doing / what did you do with your engagement pictures?

  1. Have you thought about sending a picture with your wedding invitations? I know a lot of couples do that these days, and I always love having a photograph I can keep around the house. And if you haven't done your Save the Dates yet, you can definitely use quite a few of your engagement pictures! Ours incorporated four different pictures on one postcard, and it was awesome!

  2. I like your inspiration photos! I had prints made of ours and displayed them at the wedding, you can use them for a guest book, or just use them to post a banner on you BLOG :)

  3. I had a bunch of ours printed and framed them and brought them to work and put them around the house. I used some on my blogger, and used some for our save the dates. I may print some out for the wedding as well if we have a photograph table!

  4. We have one set posted on our wedding website, used one for Christmas cards last year, and plan to use one or a few on our Save the Dates. Lots of options! I have a friend who made theirs into a big photo book and it was awesome!
